You are the beauty that gives me wind to my back and sun to my face
The stars all align in brightness whenever you look up

My love for you is like a warm climb to the top of Mt. Everest
Guided by the depths of my desire to see you smile
You are the air to my suffocation and the rise to my fall
The streets all light up green while you ride upon them

My love for you is as strong as the lava pouring heat onto miles of calm surfaces
Spreading the ashes of your warmth as far as the eyes can see
While impacting everyone fortunate enough to experience your presence

As clouds and rain of sorrow attempt to wash it all away
You remain the diamond of light that this world needs

My love for you is a new day of life, which I want to live, each and every day of my life
